HPMF Convention and Awards 2019 to be held in Kochi from 10-13 Oct 2019

HPMF will be celebrating its 9th Anniversary along with the Convention and Awards from 10th to 13th of October at Grand Hyatt, Kochi, Kerala. Earlier, Varanasi, Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar etc were the venues of these three day gala events. HPMF (Hospitality Purchasing Manager’s Forum) is a consortium of purchasing managers from the hospitality industry representing star hotels, catering companies, stand-alone restaurant chains, retail chains and airlines.

A non-profit organisation registered with the Charity Commissioner’s office, HPMF is first of its kind in India which aims to provide a platform for buyers from hospitality industry. Training and Development of procurement professionals, Consolidated procurement, industry product standardization, volume discounts, improved professionalism in purchasing process, development of potential vendors, green initiatives, corporate social responsibilities are some of the key elements of HPMF.

Conceived in 2010, HPMF today is a global organization with over 2600 members of the hospitality purchasing fraternity. The body is headquartered in Mumbai, with chapters in Pune, Delhi, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Andhra and Telangana, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Goa, Kerala and Gujarat. Internationally, HPMF has chapters in Sri Lanka, Maldives, The Middle East, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and the UK.

Known to be hugely successful and fascinating events, the HPMF fraternity pulls out all stops to put up an event worthy of their large fraternity. The ceremony last year at Varanasi was the talk of the country, with over 350 members, press and the bigwigs of the corporate world gracing the occasion, leading to speculation that this year would be even more spectacular.

This time, HPMF has fittingly chosen God’s Own Country, Kerala, to showcase their annual event. The theme of the event is the unique concept of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” which means “The World Is One Family”. The delegates and all other participants will experience the magical world of Kerala through Cultural Shows, Cuisine, Visits to historical places, exotic display of produce from Kerala and ancient sports.

Besides the spectacular shows, intense discussions, presentation from industry experts and highly acclaimed Corporate Speakers will address the gathering.
