The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi has announced the appointment of Amanpreet Singh Matharu as the Director of Food & Beverage. He brings with him over a decade of expertise and operational skills in the hospitality industry with a great understanding of dining trends and innovative concepts. In his new role, he will provide strategic leadership to the operations of the hotel’s varied and vibrant food and beverage outlets as well as its niche and bespoke banquet events, with a focus on giving a fillip to delivering excellent guest experiences.
Prior to joining The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi, Amanpreet has been associated with renowned names in the hospitality industry. He began his career at the Indian Hotels Company Limited as an Operations Management Trainee with the iconic Taj Palace Hotel. Post a successful stint at the Taj that lasted close to six years, he joined the Four Seasons Hotel in Mumbai where for a span of five years he was successfully spearheading various concept launches and creating innovative and competitive F&B moments. His diverse experience has helped him master the nuances of the trade and seasoned him with handling a diverse clientele.
